    RAIN virtually wiped out the local cricket programme on Saturday.
    Stratford were among the casualities as their Birmingham League Division One clash against Wombourne was abandoned without a ball being bowled at Swan’s Nest Lane.
    Stratford, who find themselves at the foot of the table, visit early leaders Shifnal this Saturday.
    Meanwhile, a few games did manage to beat the weather in the John Shepherd Cotswold Hills League.
    The results were as follows:
    PREMIER DIVISION - Earlswood 228-5 beat Stratford 3rds 75 by 153 runs.
    DIVISION ONE - Shipston-on-Stour 73 lost by six wickets to Ashton-under-Hill 74-4; Moreton-in-Marsh 120 lost by eight wickets to Rowington 121-2; Norton Lindsey 158-8 beat Overbury 97-7 by 43 runs.
    DIVISION TWO - Bearley 218-6 beat Long Itchington 209-7 by nine runs.
    DIVISION FOUR - Dorridge & Hockley Heath 150-9 beat Cookhill 93 by 57 runs; The Lenches 163-2 lost by one wicket to Earlswood II 164-9; Henley-in-Arden II 118-9 lost by eight wickets to Fladbury 110-2.
    DIVISION FIVE - Alcester & Ragley II 237-5 beat Kineton II 65 by 172 runs; Ashton-under-Hill II 250-1 beat Catherine-de-Barnes II 140-6 by 87 runs; Rowington II 144-7 losy by two wickets to Long Itchington II 145-8;
    Broadway II 166-9 beat Bidford-on-Avon II 159 by 7 runs.
    DIVISION SIX - Dorridge & Hockley Heath II awarded walk-over Stratford Bards II; Moreton-in-Marsh II 170 lost by ten wickets to Exhall & Wixford III 173-0.
    All other games were abandoned.
