TOP scorer Chris Todd bagged another double as Warwick maintained their Bodykraft League Midlands One title challenge with a hard fought success on Saturday.
A woeful first half display left the visitors trailing 2-0 at their relegation-threatened hosts but an interval blast from coach Sean Duvall had the desired effect and Todd led the fightback with a brace which took his season’s tally to an impressive 29 goals.
Todd reduced the arrears with a cool finish after good work by Buckingham and Bryce.
Todd then despatched a fine drag-flick from a short corner before turning provider to set up Dowsing who hit the winner.
The 3rds lost 1-0 at Khalsa and the 5ths went down 2-0 to Old Halesonians.
Warwick Ladies 3rds, inspired by acting captain Jane Nicholas, triumphed 3-0 at Leamington via Vicky Allison, Christina Howe and Katie Butler.

LEADERS Leamington showed no signs of rustiness as they returned to Midland League action for the first time since Christmas in fine style.
Kerry Luckett created an early opener for Nic Williams who finished clinically and it paved the way for a comfortable victory.
Luckett hit a double to provide a comfortable 3-0 half time lead which was increased by Liz Johnson who confidently converted a short corner.
Stourport scored twice following a spell of pressure but Leamington, inspired by player of the match Becky Lascelles, sealed success when Luckett completed the scoring and her hat-trick.
    Leamington entertain Kettering this Saturday.
A sparkling second half display gave the Ladies 3rds 3-0 victory over Sutton Coldfield thanks to goals from Fox player of the match Sarah Tripp 2 and Liz Jones.
